What a quiet on-call looks like

“Requiring three regions to agree before paging anyone took our false alarms to almost zero. Our on-call engineers finally sleep through the night.”

FAQ
Questions before you switch
Anything else, ask the team. A real engineer replies, usually within the hour.
Contact usHow often does Navy check my site?
Every 3 minutes on Free and every 30 seconds on Team and Business. Each check runs from the regions you pick, out of 18.
How do you avoid false alarms?
When a check fails, Navy runs it again from three other regions. You only get an alert once they all agree the service is down.
Where can alerts go?
Email, SMS, Slack, Discord, PagerDuty and any webhook. Escalation policies decide who hears about it first and who hears next.
Can I put the status page on my own domain?
Yes. Point a CNAME at Navy and we issue and renew the certificate for you. Private pages can sit behind SSO on Business.
Can I manage monitors as code?
Yes. Define monitors in YAML and apply them with the CLI, the REST API or our Terraform provider.
What happens when I reach my monitor limit?
Your existing monitors keep running. You can't add new ones until you remove some or move to a bigger plan.
How long do you keep check history?
90 days on Free and one year on paid plans. You can export response times and incident timelines at any time.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Ten monitors, 3-minute checks and one status page, free for as long as you need them. No credit card required.
