CVE-2026-104142
DataEase is an open source data visualization and analysis tool.
Overview
CVE-2026-104142 is a known-severity vulnerability. It was published on October 14, 2026.
Technical description
DataEase is an open source data visualization and analysis tool. Prior to 2.10.26, authenticated users can store crafted FieldGroupDTO.min, FieldGroupDTO.max, FieldGroupDTO.startTime, or FieldGroupDTO.endTime values in dataset group-field binning definitions. Utils.transGroupFieldToSql inserts these free-form values into generated CASE expressions without validation, and the resulting SQL can reach unparameterized backend query execution when a chart uses the field. This stored SQL injection can compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the configured backend database. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.26.
Remediation
Check the references section for vendor advisories, patches, and mitigation guidance. If immediate patching is not possible, review the CVSS vector to understand the attack surface and apply compensating controls such as network segmentation or access restrictions.

How can CyberStrike help with CVE-2026-104142?
CyberStrike is an open-source, AI-augmented pentesting engine. Rather than flag a version number, it tests whether an issue like CVE-2026-104142 is actually reachable in your own applications and APIs, then verifies each finding before reporting it. That tells you if the weakness is a real, exploitable risk in your environment or a false positive you can safely deprioritize.
