Technical description

Motor.NET before 0.19.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows a remote attacker who can publish to a consumed queue to crash the service permanently by sending a message with crafted cloudEvents headers. Attackers can supply an invalid cloudEvents:motorversion, a single double-quote header value, or an unparsable typed attribute such as cloudEvents:time to trigger an unhandled exception in ExtractCloudEvent that is treated as fatal, causing the application to stop and the unacknowledged message to be redelivered on restart, resulting in a permanent crash-loop.

Remediation

Check the references section for vendor advisories, patches, and mitigation guidance. If immediate patching is not possible, review the CVSS vector to understand the attack surface and apply compensating controls such as network segmentation or access restrictions.

How can CyberStrike help with CVE-2026-112330?

CyberStrike is an open-source, AI-augmented pentesting engine. Rather than flag a version number, it tests whether an issue like CVE-2026-112330 is actually reachable in your own applications and APIs, then verifies each finding before reporting it. That tells you if the weakness is a real, exploitable risk in your environment or a false positive you can safely deprioritize.
