Publish a status page

Create a public page that shows the health of your services and keeps customers updated during incidents.

A status page shows your customers which services are up, the uptime for the last 90 days and every incident with its updates.

Create the page

  1. Open Status pages and click New page.
  2. Enter your company name and upload a logo.
  3. Choose a theme and an accent color.

Add components

Components are the services customers see, like “API”, “Dashboard” or “Webhooks”. Each component is linked to one or more monitors, so its status updates automatically when an incident opens or closes. Group related components to keep the page short.

Write incident updates

When an incident opens, Navy adds it to the page with the status “Investigating”. Post updates as you learn more, using plain language your customers will understand. Subscribers get every update by email.

Publish

Click Publish. Your page is live at a navy.test subdomain right away. To use your own domain, see the custom domain guide.
